life feels incomplete missing something
on a more positive note
friday nite had a dinner at dae jang kum with some of my hallmates quite a big group and ate some delicious korean food had my second bb tea for the week wish bruce all the best for his bday
thursday night was international night hall event to celebrate diversity of cultures the theme was african and the performance was amazing kudos to the organisers in particular one of my set mates charles who spent hours and weeks planning for this event
earlier today had floor outing laser tag event quite fun i didnt expect to sweat that much its like playing an arcade game like that shoot laser at one another after that went to get bb tea again
That means i overshot this weeks quota of maximum 2 bb tea a week this means i MUST reducce next weeks quota to just 1 bb tea a week

below average grades, fail grade for tolerance level Tuesday, September 15, 2009
so far got back some of the mid sems performing very poorly below the average grade for all the subjects so far intl trade 19/35 average is 23/35
intro to finance 50/100 average is 64/100
earlier today had macro mid sems can sense it wasnt done well either
my mood is deteriorating badly so much anger and frustration wants to burst out badly fighting to hold everything back
just now wanted to make a trip to get some bubbletea but failed to change lane in time and ended up turning back to the hall empty handed pfft only consolation was seeing the white nissan gtr whizz by driven by the twin turbos lying under the hood waiting to unleash the monster lurking inside constraint by 60 km/h speed limits
later going to attend some of my old hallmates convocation my unhappiness is threatening to spill over having a lot of trouble trying to contain
some days you would rather not go through today is one of them enough said

productivity, capital accumulation, growth rate all i can say is studying the past few days is like accumulating factors of production suffers from diminishing returns there has been zero increase in productivity that means efficiency increase is zilch
its become so difficult to just focus and study
sure i can squeeze in an hour here or there but there just isnt the couple of hours one shot whack the books and get info to stay in my brain if i could do minimal work and still remember everything i read that would be fantastic unfortunately my memory seems to be deteriorating keep on forgetting things that extends to academic knowledge perspiration rather than inspiration why cant it be inspiration driven by a spark of sheer brilliance
my stomachs going hay wire at times keep on snacking at night
tml is the last of the mid sems after that is done its just 6 more weeks till the end of sem in about 2 months time its the exams and before you know it 2009 drawing to a close and the 3rd semester here will come to an end
the one week sem break really just flew by
last tuesday was trip to aqwa with my set mates nice place with loads of fish too bad couldnt see dolphins there the sea turtles are huge so are the stingrays
thursday chef han and chef pang cooked up some chicken rice and laska invited other hall mates around and the food was good stomachs filled with plenty to keep for supper
friday sent off my mum who came over to visit for the break
saturday went to lancelin with bruce, his other half, amanda, jk, and myself supposed to go sandboarding but the weather wasnt so kind still managed to do some sightseeing the sand dunes look huge and there was a gigantic tour bus with monster truck size wheels stopped by hillarys harbour for lunch had some fish and chips while watching the seagulls camping outside waiting to swop down on your food
just like that its back to normal study week when youre enjoying yourself a week feels like a minute

Study break Monday, September 07, 2009
IT STUDY BREAK AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!
last week was horrendous, with a Capital H for HORRENDOUS 3 mid semesters in 3 consecutive days first one on tuesday was management accounting, passable but lost out around 20 marks already fine thats okay with me compared to what comes up next
intl trade on wednesday this one is passable too might be able to get a credit for it only grouch is got confused by relative price, relative wage, real wage and the "questions" posed taken straight from the lecture notes like who were the luddites some questions downright hilarious
okiez the killer was intro to finance on thursday nite totally not going to do well all i can hope for is to pass the paper
friday had to hand up macro assignment rushed through it the nite before
SAturday was the day i will remember for a long long time to go went to the small town of York about 100 km plus away from Perth on the way there had a close call but luckily everything turned out fine together with Terence, Daniel and Kenneth leaped out of the plane about 14000 feet my heart had the sinking feeling for that split second went you first exit the plane screamed my lungs out most of the way down the view was fantastic could see for miles and miles away really grateful to the tandem master and the cameraman for trying to calm us on the way up the money spent for this trip was definitely worth every dollar the weather was good too sunny with passing showers, luck was on our side when it was our turn for the clouds witheld their load so there was no rain
on the way back to perth stopped by Mundaring well known for its pizza mmm delicious pizza and so our one day adventure ended around 7 plus when we finally got back to the hall
now its slacking time from mid week onwards time to do work but for now just NUA
